I'm a curious creative at heart with a B.S. in software development and a background in behavioral analysis. My designs focus on inclusivity with an interest in accessibility.
On my free time you can find me reading nonfiction- I love learning new things -, sketching- paper and pencil are my favorite mediums-, embroidering, sewing, or experimenting with nail art.
Let's start with my educational skills. I have a B.S. in software development and some experience with Java, SQL, HTML, and a bit of CSS. Regarding my work experience, I spent the last 5 years in the applied behavioral analysis field, which exposed me to ample action based research. My introduction to UX began with two college courses that resulted in CIW Site Development and UI Designer certificates. Upon graduation I worked my way through Google's UX Design Certification, where I strengthened my familiarity with UX research, wire-framing, and prototyping.
As an aspiring UX designer I hope to incorporate the analytical skills I developed through my B.S. in software development, the observational, research and empathy skills reinforced through my time in the applied behavioral analysis field, and my life long creativity skills to create well rounded and accessible user experiences.
